Here is what a recent pilgrim had to say about our annual Holy Land pilgrimage!

Thank you for a most wonderful, spiritual experience these past 2 weeks. The pilgrimage surpassed any expectations I had. Your teachings, Jeff, were so meaningful at each site. You are able to pull together all the history, the spirituality, the geography of the area, the archeological aspects, etc. so well to make the whole story make sense. You have challenged us to grow spiritually not only with questions to ask ourselves, but ways to ponder those question in our lives, and the wonderful "weapons" we have to tackle them, grow from them, and make necessary changes in our lives so that we may be better disciples of the Lord and spread the Good News to others. Certainly my times in adoration, and daily prayer will be enriched because of this Holy Land experience. ~~ Barb K

Year of Mercy Pilgrimage to Rome/Assisi

We are getting excited about visiting Rome and Assisi with several pilgrims who have traveled with us to the Holy Land in prior years! Of course it is open to everyone to join us and we hope you do. Our spiritual director is Fr. Chris Walsh whom we know to be such a pastoral leader with many spiritual insights and plenty of joy and laughter as well. Here is a little taste of Fr. Chris from our 2012 trip with him as director.

Registration forms and brochures can be found here!

Pilgrimages!

Trips in 2016: We have a pilrimage scheduled to the Holy Land, May 9-19 with Fr. Mike Schmitz that is focused on descerning a vocation or a new step in ones life. There are a few spots still available for that life-changing pilgrimage.

Our newest pilgrimage to announce is to visit Rome and Assisi during the Year of Mercy and walk through the 4 Holy Doors Pope Francis opened recently for this year. Fr. Chris Walsh will be the spiritual director for this pilgrimage. This one is September 26-October 6.

Something Worth Celebrating!

Tired of hearing bad news? Here in the Archdiocese of St. Paul & Minneapolis, we are teaming up with the Jewish Community Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Church Document Nostra Aetate “In Our Times” (the Vatican II Document explaining the Church’s relationship to non-catholics and specifically the Jews.)

Keynote speaker, Dr. Amy-Jill Levine is Professor of New Testament and Jewish Studies at Vanderbilt University and a renowned Jewish scholar of Jesus in his Jewish context. She is witty and engaging!

We'd love to see you there to celebrate our common faith in God, stand in solidarity to pray for one another and our unsettled world, and above all commemorate one of the great documents of Vatican II. (And eat some kosher food!)
