Here is what a recent pilgrim had to say about our annual Holy Land pilgrimage!

Thank you for a most wonderful, spiritual experience these past 2 weeks. The pilgrimage surpassed any expectations I had. Your teachings, Jeff, were so meaningful at each site. You are able to pull together all the history, the spirituality, the geography of the area, the archeological aspects, etc. so well to make the whole story make sense. You have challenged us to grow spiritually not only with questions to ask ourselves, but ways to ponder those question in our lives, and the wonderful "weapons" we have to tackle them, grow from them, and make necessary changes in our lives so that we may be better disciples of the Lord and spread the Good News to others. Certainly my times in adoration, and daily prayer will be enriched because of this Holy Land experience. ~~ Barb K

Timeline in Duluth, MN

Dear Friends,

I want to thank you for taking the time to come to my website. I look forward to using this blog to communicate with you concerning my bible studies and the beauty of the Catholic faith. Many of you know that something wonderful is happening in our bible studies in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Thousands are attending and the Word of God is changing lives. I hope to keep you up to date on some of the wonderful things happening here in the Twin Cities and around the country.

Yesterday I returned from Duluth Minnesota where I conducted an all day retreat for the teachers of the diocese. I had a wonderful time meeting with over 400 of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. The people of the Duluth diocese are so blessed to have a great leader in Bishop Dennis Schnurr. His vision and passion for vocations is contagious. The Director of Religious Education in Duluth is Brian Pizzalato. He did a great job organizing this full day retreat. Thanks for your hard work Brian.

Previous to my visit to Duluth I went to the St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul and spent some time with the young men from Duluth. Very, very impressed. I would ask you to pray for vocations. Fr. Bill Baer and his team and St. John Vianney are overseeing one of the most impressive programs I have seen. They have 144 young men in the college seminary and they are all very impressive.

September 15-16 I will be in Atlanta Georgia for a Bible Timeline at St. Peter Chanel parish. My hosts, Hugh and JoAnn Hayman have been working hard to make this a successful event. If you have questions about this event or any of my future speaking engagements you can check out my schedule on this website.

Feel free to use this blog to share with others how the bible studies are impacting your life.

God Bless You!

Jeff Cavins
