What Is the Catechetical Institute?

The Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute is based out of the St. Paul Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota. The Institute offers a two-year program on the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Applications are available in the spring for each fall registration. The Catechetical Institute, or CI, has graduated over 1000 students in the past several years. Jeff Cavins is the director emeritis and also an instruction.
